This Bruce Street development was born out of an unused ex-rental space – we’ve taken the expanse and reallocated it into an internal living room area. The crowning feature of this design is its waterfall windows; a series of magnificent panes that form part of the ceiling and continue downward to the floor level. The building has a distinct Brutalist design style, so the reallocation process required the designer and builder to take considerable care and finesse to ensure the integrity of the building and its design were fully maintained.
Located centrally in Toorak, this dwelling extension makes for a sizeable living and entertaining space. The exterior, though bold and angular, complements Bruce Street’s eclectic display of artful residential facades.
