Project Description

Winmalee Road is by far the largest home we have been involved in to date, totalling 108 squares it is by any measure a very large home. Our brief here was to create a comfortable family home focused on convenience and liveability.

It was imperative that all modern conveniences were incorporated in a way that allowed them to be functional without interfering with the modern aesthetic of the home. Thus the basement level houses the five car garage, theatre room, cellar and gym ensuring they are easily accessed by a central staircase or elevator, but out of immediate sight. The ground floor is dedicated to entertaining with formal living spaces separated from the open plan living, dining and lounge areas as well as a luxuriously appointed guest suite. Upstairs you find a further four bedrooms all with ensuites including the luxurious master suite with private terrace and dressing room.

Separating the living, entertaining and private spaces across three distinct zones allows family members to have a good night’s sleep upstairs whilst two floors down another family member enjoys an intimate movie in the basement theatre room with a glass of wine from the adjacent cellar. Upstairs a dinner party continues uninterrupted in the luxurious entertainer’s kitchen and dining area with views to the garden so that mum can supervise the children in the pool.
