Like the previous bespoke provincial style homes we have had the pleasure of designing, 14 Davis St Kew is just as bold but even more captivating.
With its elegant details, the vernacular of this classic home speaks to both the front and rear gardens with complimentary landscape designs providing the perfect crown to carry this jewel. The buildings basement is nestled into the sloping block. With two storeys soaring above the basement, the facade will hold it own in Kew and provide a good counterpoint to other notable residences in the neighbourhood.
The challenge with perfecting the balanced classical features of this style of architecture is the way we needed to introduce all the modern conveniences into the floor plan to make this home just as comfortable as it is beautiful. The well resolved interior is the perfect blend of regal detailing mixed with a practical floorpan. The result is a home that oozes charm, welcoming you with its warmth and gentle feeling.
